Challenge: The client had a promising prototype for an easy-load hay net for horses, but the manufacturers capable of meeting quality standards required high minimum order quantities — a barrier for a startup operating with limited initial funding.
Solution: Morpho broke the product into individual components, sourcing off-the-shelf parts wherever possible and negotiating with manufacturers using a long-term ordering plan. This approach reduced the effective MOQ while allowing targeted quality control at the component level.
Outcome: The client launched successfully at a manageable MOQ without compromising quality. The unique design established a strong foothold in the horse feeding market, generating consistent reorders. The brand has since expanded into multiple colorways and is using cash flow from this product to develop additional horse-related lines.
